Make a story from your clips, choose a precise Frame 0, and export a movie.

Start a story

  1. Choose New Story and give it a name.
  2. Use Add from Photos or Add from Files to select a video. Let the import finish, then select the scene to review it.
  3. Adjust your scenes and end card. In the Frame 0 picker, use Play/Pause to review the source and choose the frame you want.
  4. Export the movie, then choose Save Movie to Photos or Share / Save to Files.

Saving and storage

Saving to Photos needs add-only Photos permission. If access is denied, you can still use Share. If an import or export reports insufficient storage, free space on your device or try a shorter story. Keep important original clips and finished movies backed up outside the app.

Removing a scene or choosing Clear Clips changes the story; it does not erase the imported media file from the app's local storage.

When an import does not finish

A video or image in iCloud may need time and a connection before Apple's picker can provide it. Try a short video already available on your device and record any visible error.
